Admissions

Our school offers places to children who are 4 years old by the 31st August before a child starts in the September of the academic year. 

For September 2022 the school will be offering 30 places in our Reception class for children born between 1st September 2017 to 31st August 2018.

In School Tours

The school will be conducting small tours for prospective parents on - (Finished)

There are no tours currently scheduled however we may be able to accommodate some parents before the 15th January 2022 deadline.

Admissions 2022-2023

Parents need to apply to both the Local Authority AND the school.

School - You can download the supplementary form accessible below under Admissions Criteria 2022-2023.  Please email back to admin@st-martinporres.haringey.sch.uk to register.  If you would rather a paper copy of the supplementary form please either email or call the school and a paper copy will be sent to you.

Applicants need to email or post their supplementary forms back to the school with copies of the following documents:

  • Baptism Certificate
  • Birth Certificate
  • Council Tax or Utility Bill

Please do not send any original documents to the school.

  

Local Authority - You must also apply for the school through the borough you live in.

The closing date for the local authority is 15th January 2022.  The last date to drop off forms at the school is 3.30pm on Friday 14th January 2022.

Please Note -

In Year applications 1st November 2021- 31st August 2022

Parents should contact the school office for an application form.

You should return these to the school along with all supporting documents – birth certificate, baptism certificate, proof of address.

Parents will be notified of the outcome of the application within 10 school days of receiving the documentation.

If your child is NOT successful in gaining a place you will be advised why and information will be shared about how to appeal the decision.

In the meantime they will be added to the waiting list for a place.

The local authority will be notified of every In Year application to the school and the outcome of the application within two days of the parents being offered a place.

    Reception Class Appeals Process

If you have not been successful in obtaining a place for your child and you would like to appeal, please contact the School Office for a Reception Class Appeals Process and Form (admin@st-martinporres.haringey.sch.uk)

Please return the form to the School Office for the attention of the Chair of Governors.
