Nursery

Please note -

St Martin of Porres will not be running a school nursery service from July 2022.

We are currently looking to outsource our nursery to a private tenant from September 2022.

More details will be posted as and when we know who the new provider will be.

2021 - 2022

The Nursery offers both part-time and full-time places for children who are 3 years old by the 31st August before a child starts in September. There is a second intake in January but the child must be three before 31st December of the preceding year.

Children can attend for 15 hours (morning or afternoon) or 30 hours. Only children of eligible working parents can attend for 30 hours.

A child is entitled to FREE early years provision if the child has attained the age of three, is under compulsory school age and the child’s parent(s) meets the eligibility criteria set out on the Department for Education website at -

SESSIONS

Morning	8.45 - 11.45
Lunch	11.45 - 12.15
Afternoon	12.15 - 15.15

Parents who use the 15 hour option can provide a packed lunch for their child. The child is welcome to eat their packed lunch in the dining room until 12.15pm.

Parents who use the 15 hour option can currently add an additional ad hoc session at a cost of £20.00 per extra (3 hour) session.

The Extended Day

St Martin of Porres offers a Breakfast Club and an After School Club, where childcare is provided for children before and after school.

We also offer a range of after school activities for the children to enjoy.
